Great Western Finishes 2007 Strong!

Great Western finished 2007 strong up 6.2% for the year. It's Coors Business was up 3.6% as well. Harwork, Teamwork, Quality Products, and dedication drove the strong numbers. Chris Reed, Senior Vice-President, sees 2008 being a good year as well. "We have some tough hurdles to overcome with neighboring counties voted wet but, with the additions of new product lines and Childress county voted wet should help offset the losses." said Reed. "Our company is poised to do great things in '08 and we look forward to the challenge. Thank you to all the great team members and retailers that help drive volume in '07 and we look forward to a terrific 2008."

Walton and Floyd Promoted

Rhett Blandford, Director of Sales and Marketing, announced that Don Walton has been promoted to On-Premise Supervisor. Don was a Retail Account Manager in charge of Grocery in Amarillo. "Don will perform well in this position with his past background" said Blandford. Don will report to Ken Hormel.
Quintin Floyd was named Key Account Manager and will report to Presley Yarbrough. Quintin will be responsible for Key Accounts and Shelf Management. Quintin has had previous experience in this position as well.
